Sustainability Report
The Sustainability Report, which Hokkaido University has been publishing since 2020, is a comprehensive report covering what should be included in an environmental report as well as sustainability initiatives of the University. The Report includes not only data and initiatives related to environmental impact reduction, but also covers articles on the University’s history, culture, social relations, student projects, and other content with a sustainability perspective. GHG Inventory
In October 2024, Hokkaido University established the “Hokkaido University GHG Inventory”. This inventory presents comprehensive data on the University’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, aiming to accurately assess the current status of emissions. In developing this report, we have referred to international standards such as the GHG Protocol*1, which serves as a global benchmark for the calculation and reporting of GHG emissions.
